About Waxse Law

Rebecca A. Waxse is originally from Kansas City but moved to Minnesota for law school and has made Minnesota her home. She graduated from Hamline Law School in 2006 where she was the Articles Editor of the Journal of Public Law and Policy. Since graduation from law school she has worked in the areas of criminal law, family law, and juvenile law. She is passionate about the practice law and working hard to protect her client’s rights.

Rebecca has handled a wide variety of criminal cases ranging from major violent felonies to minor traffic cases. Her experience includes defending individuals charged with sexual, physical, and domestic assault, violation of no contact orders, violation of orders for protection, theft offenses, drug offenses, criminal vehicular operation, DWI, and disorderly conduct. Rebecca has successfully litigated numerous jury and court trials, contested omnibus issues, and probation violations.

Rebecca also has experience in a wide variety of family law issues. Her experience includes handling divorce, child custody, parenting time, paternity, child support, child protection, and termination of parental rights. She is an experienced litigator but believes that individuals are in the best position to determine what is in their family’s best interest.
